Update as of 6:15 p.m.: Contract signed. Earnest money check being dropped off tomorrow. Loan application being filled out tonight.

Update as of 11 a.m. next day: After some careful consideration, the house is too expensive per sq foot for what you actually get, so we’re bailing. Onwards and upwards!
