what a night. got to bed around midnight.
at 2 a.m. i wake up to the sound of my cat puking all over my bedroom carpet.
sigh
up, clean carpet, wash hands, back to sleep.
at 4 a.m. the phone rings. of course it’s downstairs, so i run down to get it… shows up as “private caller” on caller id, and i don’t pick it up in time. no voicemail, and i didn’t even get to scream at the person for calling the WRONG NUMBER at 4 a.m.
sigh
at 5 i wake up to the sound of my cat heaving downstairs… heave, heave, heave, SPLAT! this time, at least, it was on the wood floor, so a relatively easy clean up. wash hands, back to sleep.
alarm goes off in another hour or so…. time to face a new lovely day.
